I am delighted to share my experience of working with Edinburgh based charity the Super Power Agency. On this page are featured a selection of portraits I have made of the thousands of young people who, thanks to the SPA, have become published writers. Having signed up initially as a volunteer, then trustee and house photographer, I invite you to join us at the SPA: we are always looking for classroom volunteers, for editors, typists, designers.  

The SPA delivers workshops in Edinburgh's schools, bringing creativity and fun to the classroom. We encourage all students to pick up a pen and express themselves- hoping to inspire even the young people at the back of the class who have lost all interest. It has been a great pleasure to watch the SPA flourish, and to have the opportunity to make portraits of many of  our young writers- and their penpals.
